What's on my iPad Mini 3 {Gold}

Hi Dolls,

Two years ago I had purchased an iPad (I believe it was the third generation) but my girls took over it and I rarely used it. But I realized I needed something for school and blogging on the go, when I don't take my MacBook Pro with me. Can you tell I'm an apple head.

A few months ago I got the new iPad mini 3 in champagne gold with the Touch ID, and I'm so happy I did. I choose the champagne gold, because my iPhone 6 is in champagne gold, yes I'm neurotic like that, in 64gb. It's in the wifi only edition verses cellular with wifi.

*Side note, I really want the new gold MacBook, because it's in champagne gold. My MacBook Pro is in perfect condition two years old but it's not gold. I told you, I'm neurotic.

I loved my iPad 3, but found it too big & heavy and like I said, it was taken over, by my daughters, tehehe. At the time I purchased of the bigger iPad,  the iPad mini debut a few months later, ugh!

Here is an overview of my iPad mini 3.

All my apps are on one page. The set up is basically the same as on my iPhone 6.

The top three rows are default apps that come on the iPad mini, minus the last two in the third row. The first one is my Bible. Then a  short cut to my church's website. For days that I can't make it to church, I catch the live streaming.

On the dock I have:
Messages, Mail, Safari, Music

Basically all the apps the come with all apple devices. Minus the find friends and find iPhone

iStudiez Pro, Black Board, AudioNote, Mathway, Quilt, Translate, Dictionary, Google Docs, DropBox, SignEasy, Calculator, Wikipedia, and medical review apps for exams I have to take. I'm a pre-nursing student and it's never too early to review.

Figure1; basically instgram for trauma junkies, no weak stomaches allowed, you've been warned ;-), all nurses, Anatomy, Microbiology, A&P, iTriage, Prognosis, Medical Dictionary, Mighty Nurses website short cut, more anatomy apps, and a few chemistry & biology apps.

Netflix, Hulu, HBO GO, Amazon video, FX Now, Xfinity remote, Audible, pandora, Spotify.

My Bank, My Verizon, Sephora, Etsy, Yelp, ebay, Amazon, HauteLook, ShopHers

Don't think these need any introduction.

Same goes for these apps.

Beautylish, Blogger, Polyvore, Bloglovin', Google+, Fullscreen; my network that I partner with for my YouTube channel, IMDB, Buzzfeed

My favorite games on my iPad are The Simpsons Tapped Out, Blitz, Flow Free.
Kim Kardashians Hollywood game was fun but gets on my nerves!!!!!! It gives you way too many tasks to do. I got overwhelmed and stopped playing.

Hope you enjoyed this post. Do you have a tablet? If so, which app(s) are you loving?

What's on my iPhone 6 {Gold}

Hello Dolls!

I wanted to do an updated what's on my iPhone tag because I recently upgraded from the iPhone 5s to the iPhone 6. I have to admit that at first I was very hesitant to get the six because of how big it is, and how perfectly the five fit in my small handbags and coat pocket.
I got used to the size of the phone, although I have pretty small hands it does  slip sometimes.
Although,  I gotta tell ya.... I LOOOOOVE IT!!!!!! Tehehe.

I purchased the iPhone 6 in champagne gold, 128 gbs. I just wanted a lot of gbs. I'm currently rocking a Rebecca Minkoff case on it. I purchased it on eBay. Picture below.

An over all look at my phone. I was notorious for not using folders to place my apps in. I really hated having to click into a folder and going in & out, blah, blah, blah. BUT I got over it, lol. I have one page of apps. I went from having only two full pages of apps (with only two folders, one for Apple apps  I didn't use and the other for photography apps) but I started to download more and more apps. It's gotten out of control. I'm seriously contemplating swiping it clean and starting fresh.

Once I realize I haven't used an app at least once in two months I delete them. I try to stay organized and not cluttered.

My home screen:
The first two rows are default apps that come with the iPhone that I use the most. The next two are more exciting, tehehe ;)
Periscope; sister app to Twitter for live streaming. Glide; video chatting I use with my girlfriends. Tango; my daughters and I use it to text and chat, because FaceTime & regular text messages is so basic ( did I use that right, girls?!?) Voxer; another app for communication that we use at work. Not everyone has an iPhone but we all pretty much have a smartphone. So Voxer it is.
Dark Sky: weather app, it was $5, worth it! Waze; GPS that finds you your fastest route. Bible. Audible.

On the dock I have;
Phone, Mail, Safari, Messages

General Apple apps:

I do use followers for Instagram & Twitter to see who follows & unfollows me.

Music Apps:
Music, Apple default app, shazam, Pandora, Spotify, SoundCloud, 8Tracks

My bank, Amazon, Dash Hudson, Groupon, HauteLook, The Hunt, Sephora, Yelp, Forks of Knives

Here I have a few apps for school. Blackboard; a school app to check grades and assignments. Mathway; the holy grail for those that hate math, like me. Uber, Netflix, all nurses, My verizon, TurboScan, iTranslate, PayPal, Venmo, Find iPhone, Moviefone, CNN, GasBuddy, SignEasy, Quizlet, Dropbox.

I'm sure these need no explanation, minus a few that may not be to popular. MakeupSocial; basically Instagram for makeup lovers. Fullscreen is the network I partner with for my YouTube channel, YikYak; a hilarious and sometimes inappropriate anonymous posting for college students. Creator Studio; helps me manage my YouTube channel.

Pretty basic. Think everyone knows all of these apps.

MyChart keeps my connected to my doctors, to schedule appointments and check results, beats having to call and waiting for someone yo get back to me. Figure 1; is basically medical Instagram, lol, that's the best way to explain it in a few words. If you have a weak stomach DO NOT get it. I'm a trauma junkie so I love it. BodyLab is Jennifer Lopez's app yo get in shape stay fit. Aqualert helps me keep track of how much water I'm drinking. AllTrails give you hiking, biking, walking areas in your area. I'm a pre-Nursing student and have been reviewing NCLEX test questions, never too early.

Games: my favorites right now are Flow Free and word search.

That's it loves. Hope you enjoyed this post. Hope I introduced you to a new app or two.

What app(s) are you loving on your smartphone?

Stay tuned for my what's on my iPad.

May in Instagram

Hello Dolls,

May has come and gone so quickly. I say this every month, but I can't believe how fast  this month has come, we are literally in the middle of the year. How exciting is that! Here in Chicago the weather is nutty. We go from 40 degrees to 75, often all in the same day.

1. An outfit I picked out for Church.
2. A selfie, tehehe.
3. Getting ready to go out, my makeup set up on my vanity.
4. Breakfast I made. Scrambled eggs with green peppers and avocado, and two pieces of toast with avocado.
5. SHREDZ!! I started the Shredz 30 day supplement challenge. (Blog & video coming soon)
6. Church, i attend New Life Community Church Midway, in Chicago.  I love my Pastor. the worship is my favorite part.
7. Home made iced coffee, my mommas recipe, I rarely drink coffee but I had a crazy craving.
8. A dragon fruit. pretty good, and really pretty, tehehe.
9. I did a mini what's in my purse of my Rebecca Minkoff purse.

Hello June

Hellloooo JUUNNE,

Hello Dolls,

June is going to be a hectic month for me. My special guy has a birthday next week. I'm so excited, I have something special planned, I can't give details because I know he reads my blog and I don't want him to spoil my surprise. I also have two grad parties (my nephew & cousin). My girls are completing this school year at a new school. It was a rough start but they have done so well, I couldn't be prouder. We have many home improvement projects coming this summer and I'm stoked to get started. I'm also prepping to take an entrance exam to start at a new college. I'm determined to finish college and get my nursing degree. I'll be blogging about that journey on my school blog.

Hope you all have an amazing Summer!!!
